Do's and Dont's for Vaginal Irritation

• You should not keep your stomach empty for a long time.
• Relieve itching with a cold water compress or cool baths.
• Wash the vaginal and genital area once a day with plain water or a mild, nonperfumed soap. Rinse well and dry thoroughly.
• Wear cotton and avoid tight-fitting clothing. Avoid tight jeans.
• Avoid the use of feminine deodorant sprays and other perfumed products. They irritate and dry tender skin.
• Avoid douching.

It should then be strained and used as a douche.

Treatment through water is extremely beneficial in curing leucorrhea. A warm vaginal douche at 30 degree to 40 degree is beneficial for general cleansing and elimination of the purulent discharge. A cold hip bath twice a day for 10 minutes will help relieve congestion in the pelvic region and facilitate quick elimination or morbid matter.

The passive inflammation of the affected organs can be cured by regular hot hip baths at 40 degree C for 10 minutes and regular use of wet girdle pack for 90 minutes every night.
