Food containing artificial additives, fish and wheat are to be restricted. Ayurveda says one should take precaution while taking pulses and grams as they are Vata Dosha aggravating factors. Cold drinks, junk food and spicy food are to be avoided. Oily foods are to be restricted as they may produce aama.
Salads are to be promoted. Ayurveda denies having sour tasted food and fruits as well. Avoid putting extra salt and pepper to your dish. Ghee up to some extent works well in this condition.
